Gaby Alonso-Carmona, NCIDQ
Principal Interior Designer
I am an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer with 18 years of commercial and residential experience working with McDonald’s Corporation, Aria Group Architects and 555 International. There is no project, scope, or problem that I have encountered and not successfully conquered. I believe an effective partnership between a client and designer comes from an intimate knowledge of the client's vision, coupled with the designer's knowledge of the most up-to-date design methods, principles, and best-practices. Listening is the first step in the design process. I spend the overwhelming majority of the initial client meeting attentively listening to the client's vision in order to come up with a game plan because at the end of the day, I'm here to design the clients’ vision. I’m particularly interested in having an impact on my clients lives by creating great spaces which meet their needs. I was born and raised in Brazil, I attended Louisiana State University and DuPage College where I graduated with a degree in Interior Design.
Personally I have 3 daughters under 8 years old. Although it gets busy I’m able to do what I love and still be able to have time to enjoy my family which is priceless.
Some of the notable clients I’ve had the privilege of working with are: Dallas Cowboys Stadium Owners Club, Hard Rock Suites, Aspen Snowmass, Fairmont Breckenridge, Sam’s SmokeHouse Aspen, PF Changs, McCormick & Schmicks, Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, Maya Del Sol, Pinstripes, Chicago Fire Soccer Club, McDonald’s restaurants flagship locations.
